The Process for Completing your Digital Story

You will be permitted to complete this project in pairs; you may chose, however, to work alone. In external image pencil%20and%20paper.jpgyour team you will decide together to pick one person from the list below. The people listed below are considered to be the “famous” men and women of Ancient World History. We have discussed each one this year as we traveled from the prehistoric times to the Renaissance.

You will be responsible for creating a digital story of the life and death of your “famous” person from history. I have created a list of five questions that you are responsible for answering. Please check the Required Answers tab located on the right side of this page. You are also responsible for creating three additional questions that you must answer during your digital story.

Before you begin recording your digital story, you will need to research and answer your eight questions. You may use your book to complete the research and/or the Internet. If you chose to use the Internet to research and answer your questions, you are NOT permitted to use Wikipedia.com. You must properly cite your research on a separate slide or frame.

After answering your questions, you will need to write a script. In this script you are encouraged to be as creative as possible. You also are required to include photos, text, video clips, music, and narration (your recorded voice) in your digital story. You must include a minimum of four pictures in your digital story. Keep in mind; pictures can be maps, diagrams, paintings, or actual photographs of the “famous” person of history. A digital story could also be you speaking as the famous historian in simulated costume.
